Fostering children’s creativity...
At IDEA Design we offer art classes for children aged 6 to 12 in the heart of Hammersmith. Our objective is to create meaningful connections between children and their artistic capabilities. Our classes focus on developing art and design skills but also foster a sense of community, global citizenship, critical thinking and creative freedom.
To design stronger communities.
At Idea Design Hub, we are dedicated to transforming our community into vibrant, accessible spaces that everyone can enjoy. We believe that by embracing co-creation, we can harness our collective creativity and innovation to design environments that truly reflect our shared values. Our community projects are conceived and brought to life by a diverse team of architects, designers, educators, psychologists, and—most importantly—our students.
By involving children directly in these projects, we not only nurture their creativity but also instil a deep sense of ownership and responsibility. When young people contribute to the well-being of their surroundings, they enhance the spaces they use while forging lasting connections within the community. This active participation fosters resilience, mutual respect, and a spirit of collaboration that benefits everyone.
In our commitment to sustainability, we prioritise environmentally friendly practices throughout our projects. By integrating eco-friendly materials, sustainable design principles, and energy-efficient solutions, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while creating spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable.
Our initiatives are designed to spark dialogue, inspire new ideas, and develop environments that reflect the unique needs and aspirations of our community. We strive to create inclusive spaces that promote social cohesion, celebrate diversity, and empower every individual to contribute to a shared vision of progress, well-being, and environmental stewardship.
Together, we are shaping a future where every community member—young and old—has the opportunity to participate in, and benefit from, thoughtfully designed spaces that enrich our lives, support our planet, and bring us closer together.
